Johnnie Selfish & the Worried Men Band were born on 2007 in Milan; in the same year our first live show at La Locomotiva (Osnago). During the first period the band had to deal with the folk and country-music classics (Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Woodie Guthrie), re-interpreted in acoustic style and with a blues/punk attitude. We also started the difficult song-writing work, trying to couple traditional music with the words evoked by the present. In 2008 there were several changes in the band's career: we attended important blues festivals and started friendship with Italy's best blues musicians (Mauro Ferrarese, Max de Bernardi, Veronica & the Red Wine Serenaders, Fabio Treves, Big Sound of the Country Music, etc.). We also produced our first album "Jungle Rules", which includes many love songs ("Postcards & Photographs", "Love at Third Degree", "The Train from St. Petersburg"). During 2009 we played all around the Country (Venice, Genova, Florence, Bologna, Sondrio) and we were selected among the best 6 bands by Italy's most important Rock Contest (Controradio, Florence). By the end of 2009 we started the recordings for the new album "Committed". In this album we're more interested in the issues of work, politics, social and spiritual problems, that represent the very roots of folk music's origin.
At the beginning of 2010 the band broke into the European independent "blues inspired" scene by taking part to Samedan Blues Festival (Samedan, CH).

GO TSUSHIMA is a guitarist/improviser based in kyoto japan, foucusing on the infinite rhythm like mandala coming from trance.

GO formed the freak-out drone improvisation band PSYCHEDELIC DESERT in 2004, and toured in australia, germany, uk, france and switzerland. PSYCHEDELIC DESERT is fluid collective by 2-10 changeable members with mind expanding, primal and meditative sound.

GO presents A SEED project with HIDE from the japanese legendary noise punk band ULTRA BIDE, organizing underground free party for international and local artists, and making recordings at HIDE's FAKE RIVER STUDIO. "fuck jap system !!!"

GO plays trip noise duo with 時空JIKUUUUUUUUU from 2010, creating various experimental recordings on self-running label 時空JIKUUUUUUUUU RECORDS. GO & 時空JIKUUUUUUUUU is going on first european tour on sep-oct 2010.

DJ Helvete is a malevolent alien lifeform of possibly Canadian origin, who's been infecting the various underground scenes in Osaka for the past 5 years. Whether creating nightmarescapes of dark sounds on his own as Kanashibari, or his collaboration industrial project Drowning in Sand, or just DJing around various underground gatherings, he aims to further the cause of dark ambient music and other like-minded forms of musical terrorism. He organized various dark experimental events such as Kali Yuga Night and ....A Night of Aural Death Worship in Osaka.

2009年4月に広島市にてボージィー、ヤンボ、エブチ、チャーリーにより結成。
スペーシーでドープ、インプロヴィゼーションなジャムバンドを目指し、結成当時より野外イベント、キャンプイベント、県外で出演する。
2010年パーカッションヨッチャンを迎え、毎月行われる広島のタトゥーイベントをホームに積極的にツアーに出ている。

NOID (from Vienna, Austria)

noid /aka arnold haberl - musician, composer, sound artist living and working in vienna.

his music interprets the reality of sound we live in - this reality consists of imaginations, wishes, dreams and acoustical hallucinations as well as of the sound of the fan of a laptop or the wolf-tone of a cello. his sensual approach to the sound assisted by structural concepts addresses a wide range of contradictory outcome, which is always understandable as concentrate (essence), leaving out irrelevant points. consequently his musical works span from solo-works and installations to compositions for ensembles, using electronics as well as acoustic instruments. often denying the borderline between music and sound-art.

this lead him to collaborations with several choreographers, like joão fiadeiro, colette sadler, akemi takeya, philipp gehmacher, etc... and visual artists as for instance alexander schellow, heike kaltenbrunner and erik hable.
as an improvisor he performs in various constellations, among others with: klaus filip, taku unami, o.blaat, axel doerner, christian weber, kai fagaschinski, dieb13, kazuhisa uchihashi, etc...
also he is programming for the "ppooll" project: an open source / copyleft / freeware, designed for live – improvisation, composition, interactive installations.

アルノルト・ハーバル (Arnold Haberl)、別名 Noid はウィーン在住のチェロ奏者、プログラマー、作曲家。ソロ演奏、音楽家やダンサーらとの共演、インスタレーションをおこなう。誰もいない部屋での録音を素材にした作曲作品アルバム『You're Not Here』を宇波拓のレーベル hibari music より昨年リリース。


TIM BLECHMANN (from Vienna, Austria)

Tim's music is focused on static noise textures, that are digitally generated and spacial projected in realtime. His pieces are very slow paced, having a low volume close to the background ambience. For live performances, his preferred lineup is the duo with another improvising musicians. After studying physics in Tuebingen and Stuttgart, he moved to Vienna in 2005, in order to study computer sciences, digital arts and electroacoustic music (with Wolfgang Musil).

Altering fans, televisions, and other everyday appliances, converting their functions into something utterly different, UMEDA creates objets freed from their original meanings. His works, created to suit the spaces in which they will be installed, use utterly familiar, commonplace phenomena, channeled through his clever handiness and unique spatial sensibility, to create mysterious, seemingly impossible sensations. They thereby free one from rigid perceptions constrained by preconceived ideas.

Umeda puts in motion systems and processes for creating sound, and intervenes within these. His sounds are always direct consequences of the systems he sets up - the process is as transparent as possible, without PA or playback of pre-recorded material. His installations use daily, commonplace objects - fans, tin cans, bamboo bowls, buzzers - and the acoustic properties of the space.

Salads in Space is Rick Tuazon, Charles-Eric Billard and Jerry Gordon improvising their little hearts out. Since forming two years ago, the trio has played bunches and bunches around Osaka and Kyoto. With each of the three guiding the spaceship from a different instrument panel and steering wheel, they are known to be skilled Lostronauts.

Sseeaann Rrooee (aka Sean Roe) is a Multimedia/Performance artist, Musician and Curator. He performs on Electronic Trumpet, Bass and Flute, utilizing triggered samples and occasional effects. He produces the JunKroom live event in Kyoto, and has helped establish "For Gaza" a fundraising project that raises awareness about the plight of the people of Palestine through Music and Performance.

Andrew Couzens is a member of S.C.F with Michael J. Migliacci. They are a multimedia act that explores the interface between electronic sounds and Video, often collaborating with dancers or other musicians.

MS. MEKA NISM (from US)

Ms. Meka Nism is known in underground circuits for her work with former American bands and touring projects “Dirty Barby” (playing NYC’s historical CBGB’s!), “Angel Autopsy,” and “Meka Nism and her Rusty Tears,” as guitarist, vocalist, and insane performance artist. Sponsored by Dean Guitars, she is recognized for creating the rare “Acoustic Death Metal” genre, playing with such bands as Trivium, Chimaira, and Faun Fables. In 2007, she released the album “Mad to Love” from Florida Indie label Hidden Records. The album’s feature song “Break” was awarded Best Experimental Song 2006 by Songwriter’s Showcase of America. In January 2007, Meka moved to Kyoto, Japan, where she began touring with singer songwriter bassist Yukari Ikeda, the two soon creating the band “Origami Girls” which made its television debut on KBS Kyoto television in 2008. They continue to tour Japan steadily as band and solo performers and just finished a small US tour in Florida January 2009.

魔界都市・京都を拠点に活動するキュート＆ホラー系ラウドロックバンド。
キャッチコピーの示す通り、可愛い恐ろしいステージングと、爆音轟く骨太なサウンドを持ち味とする。
太古の昔に活動を開始した頃には正統派ロックバンドだったような気もするが、絵に描いた様な自堕落なロックンロールライフが原因でメンバーが入れ替わったり、米軍基地を襲撃したり機械化人間を製造したり異星人に誘拐されたりゾンビに噛み付かれたり女装など試みたりしているうちに取り返しのつかない程に変質し、現在に至る。

1978年京都のアンダーグランドシーンから、活動が始まったULTRA BIDEのhideを中心に活動を続けている。
関西で1番最初の自主レコード、どっきりレコード、アルケミーレコードからリリースし、1986年にニューヨークに渡りデッド ケネディーズのジェロ ビアフラのレーベル、オルナタティブ テンタクルスからも数々のレコードをリリースし、アメリカ、カナダ、ヨーロッパ、など勢力的にツアーをこなす。
2001年に再び京都に戻り、新たなるラインアップでDRUM & BASSのガツとしたオルナタティブ エレクトロ パンク アンダーグランドを展開して行ってる。

2008年結成のテクノブルース二人ユニット。
テクノ、ファンク、ドラムンベース、サイケなどを食い散らかし打ち込みをバックにうなるブルースギター、踊るサイケギターと日本語にこだわった歌で責める。
今回は、大阪のデケデケハードコアバンド｢ヒョットコ｣と組んでのバンド形式での出演。
リードベースのまえだりゅう、松浦達彦バンドでも活躍のふじいけんたを加え参加。

MANAMI N (from Berlin, Germany)

Born in Niigata, Japan

Graduated Niigata University (Faculty of Education)

After University she worked for a company in Niigata but soon she got a new position and moved to Tokyo.

Moving to Tokyo changed her life. Getting in the huge creative input of this megacity she started her career as a musician.

During the 90s when she still was working as an office lady, she trained her voice by Kumiko Hara (1955-2005) and joined several bands as main vocalist or chorus singer.

At the end of the 90s manami started to make music with the computer. Since then she composes, writes lyrics and performs as a solo artist and as a member of the band "kamomellia"

Iｎ 2004 and 2005 she released CDs from Indie labels in Europe,one year later she quitt her office job and moved to Berlin.

MANAMI N's music is difficult to describe in terms of genre. Somehow her field is in between pop and experiment and she uses music to express very personal feelings and telling stories.

Her laptop is a tool for her to have access to various instruments and sound effects and her voice has a particular and unique sound.

For instance in her latest piece "When I was little" a 20 minute composition she structures the story of her childhood in 4 chapters, using melodic elements, noise and even Budhist sutras to merge to a very exciting journey through time and memory.

新潟生まれ
新潟大学教育学部卒

大学卒業後、新潟市内の企業に就職するもつかの間、会社より異動を言い渡され東京へ転勤する。東京での新生活で、さまざまな出会いや文化的交流に刺激され本格的に音楽活動をはじめようと思うようになる。
90 年代初頭は盲目のジャズシンガー原久美子氏（1955-2005）に師事、ボイストレーニングを行う。同時にいくつかのバンドにてメインボーカル、コーラスを担当。90 年代後半になって DTM の存在を知り、会社の仕事の傍ら自宅録音に没頭。それ以降は作詞作曲編曲・歌をこなすようになる。同時に山崎憲司氏とのユニット Kamomellia（＊立ち上げ当初は Tae という名称）を立ち上げる。

2003 年には kamomellia としてヨーロッパツアーを、2004、2005 年にはヨーロッパの 2 インディーレーベルから MANAMI N名義で CD がリリースされ、それをきっかけに 2006 年夏にドイツ・ベルリンに渡る。渡独後はパフォーマンスをメインに活動、滞在 3 年強でヨーロッパ各地の音楽または Media Art Festival、ギャラリー等に招待を受けるようになる。
MANAMI N の音楽をジャンルで区分することは難しいが、ポップミュージックと前衛音楽の間をいくそのスタイルはアートに無縁な人々とアートに深く携わっている人々双方に訴えかける力を持っている。またエネルギッシュなパフォーマンスは国や年代を越えた幅広い層に受け入れられている。
2009 年後半よりメディアアーティスト Marek Brandt(aka triPhaze)率いるドイツ・ライプチッヒの老舗インディーレーベル「Privatelektro」のメンバーとして本格的にコラボを開始。本年 4 月には渡独後初めての本格的ソロアルバムをリリースする予定。

2009年12月結成。中国で出会った３人は現在京都在住。
古代から伝わる楽器たちを電気増幅ビンビンに、変拍子のスパイスをぶっかけて、瞑想からバカ踊りまで変幻自在に音の旅路を疾走中。

while traveling , 3 japanese met in china , formed as band in kyoto, japan dec 2009. playing tribal ancient instruments, such as jew's harps, didjeriduu, djembe, cajon , it's a way to journey of progressive electric sounds.

2009年12月组成。在中国遇到了的3人现在京都居住。
把从古代传达的乐器们做为电放大邴邴，泼事变拍子的调味品，从冥想到笨蛋舞变幻自在正在疾驶声音的旅途。

2006年よりYUMAに師事。
Cuteで華やかな踊りを好み、日々練習に励んでいる。

2002年ベリーダンスに出会い、魅了される。Affirmatifart主宰のYumaに師事。
オリエンタルからジプシー、トライバルまでジャンルをとわず、"心で踊る"ことを大切に日々精進中。
Sachi率いるトライバルチーム"BOMBA!"メンバー。
近鉄文化サロン阿倍野校にてYumaのアシスタントを務めている。

NAO

2002年よりベリーダンスを始める。
音を女性らしく体で奏でる事を目標に現在Yuma師事の元日々探究中。
変化自在のユニットKARA-Z(カラーズ)のメンバー。
また自主イベントにも力を入れる。




DJ HELVETE (from Canada)

DJ Helvete is a malevolent alien lifeform of possibly Canadian origin, who's been infecting the various underground scenes in Osaka for the past 5 years. Whether creating nightmarescapes of dark sounds on his own as Kanashibari, or his collaboration industrial project Drowning in Sand, or just DJing around various underground gatherings, he aims to further the cause of dark ambient music and other like-minded forms of musical terrorism. He organized various dark experimental events such as Kali Yuga Night and ....A Night of Aural Death Worship in Osaka.
